Website analytics
When you use customcrosshair.app, we may process your IP address, country code and country name, province or state, device category, operating system, browser category, referring source parameter, the normalized page pathname and landing pathname, and whether you selected the iOS App Store entry. For store activity, we distinguish a mobile QR arrival, an iPhone store selection, and a desktop store-link selection. These events show click-throughs, not confirmed app installs.
This information is used only for security, basic audience measurement, tool improvement, and understanding website-to-store conversion. Pageviews are deduplicated by IP, normalized pathname, and Beijing calendar day. On tool pages, we may also record whether a visitor starts and successfully completes the tool's defined task; we do not store entered values or results. Tool and store events are deduplicated by IP and Beijing calendar day. The website does not use Google Analytics.
What we do not collect
- We do not store query strings, URL fragments, full URLs, or a sequence of pages visited. Stored page values are normalized pathnames such as /guides/example/.
- We do not store the original User-Agent string.
- We do not collect page content, form content, search content, account credentials, or advertising identifiers through website analytics.
- We exclude known automated crawlers, verified bots, local testing, and the administrator's configured IP address from analytics storage.
Retention and security
Website analytics events are stored in Cloudflare D1 and retained for no longer than 30 days. The analytics dashboard is password protected, sessions expire after eight hours, and dynamic analytics responses are not cached or indexed by search engines.
Access is restricted to the site administrator and the data is used only for the limited purposes described above.
The app and app stores
